9 Daughters of Ran
Fire Panda is working with Director and Artist Lina Reinsbakken to build the fantastic and vivid world of her creation to VR.
The 9 Daughters of RAN" is the first episode of the multi-platform interactive XR series "NORN & The Little Grey that Matters", which offers a fairytale about the inner conflict between Love & Fear playing out inside our minds. It is an allegorical fairytale set inside the Brain, where anatomy is mixed with Norse Mythology and the Characters are personified neurons, hormones and cognitive thoughts.
The first episode introduces the Universe and conflict if a Hero's journey where YOU are the key character who has to help the Hero fight Fear to save the State of Fantasy.
Narrative VR Experience

The story for each of the Episodes was written by Lina, who also created artwork that is being turned into the VR experience, including Gullveig, seen here in the original artwork, as long with three other pieces above.
As part of the NORN 360 distribution plan, an AR companion book is being developed. And in addition to experiencing the VR film in an Art Space, Digital artwork can be exhibited in the space surrounding the VR experience.
VR STORYTELLING
Told through an immersive storyscape with authentic Norwegian sounds and visuals, 9 Daughters interweaves a multi-disciplinary XR experience diving into Lina’s vision of the brain as a landscape.
