Personal Projects
ALTERNATE REALITIES
Napoleonic era war among the creatures of the forest.
Created for the ‘Alternate Realities’ challenge by Pwnisher. 2400 artists contributed, with my own entry here being placed in the top 100.
MOVING MEDITATIONS
A science-fantasy war scene, where I attempt to push a stylised, visually punchy style as well as scene composition. This was also an exploration of AI generated art, with the sky and character faces generated with Midjourney.
This was my entry for the ‘Moving Meditations’ challenge by Pwnisher.
LOW POLY WICK
An exploration of more stylised character forms and animation styles, creating a gun fight scene inspired by the Jon Wick series.
A base ‘John Wick’ character was animated through the scene, with each frame then individually decimated to a low poly version to emphasise apparent motion.
‘THE LABYRINTH’
I created a scene inspired by the Simon Stålenhag series ‘The Labyrinth’, with it’s melancholy dystopia, thick atmosphere and sci-fi stylings.
A mixture of kitbashed elements and alien character modelled, then painted in Substance Painter. Rendered in Unity.
DIGITAL CHARACTERS
An exploration of digital characters, with a sci-fi and fantasy angle.
This character began as an AI generated image, which I recreated as a digital actor, modelling the facial/helmet elements and painting over the top in Substance. The original inspiration can be seen at the end of the video.
