EXTEND ROBOTICS
Fire Panda worked with Extend Robotics to create the VR ap for their Advanced Mechanics Assistance System (AMAS). This allows users inside of commercial mobile VR headset such as the Quest to remotely control robotic arms using the motion controllers.
Inside the VR scene the virtual arm is overlaid by a volumetric video capture of the real-world arm, allowing the users to directly manipulate the real world space from the virtual one.
In this video below you can see how a real robot can become a physical avatar to do remote tasks and visualise remote workspace with 3D vision.

DRAGON’S DEN
Dr Chang Liu of Extend Robotics went onto the BBC show Dragon’s Den to pitch his idea to the ‘Dragons’ and seek funding and support from them.
You can see them try out the system below in the full segment from the show.
Telepresence
The system is designed to work remotely, allowing users to be in different countries to the physical robot itself.
“We have built AMAS Solution to break the geographical limitation, and to save labour and travel costs. At Extend Robotics, we create an environment where people can work safely and away from hazard.”
